Rahmat-E-Alam Mission
Educational Tour/ excursion

He that travels much knows much

  1. Thomas Fuller quotes (British Clergyman and Writer, one of the most prolific authors of the 17th century. 1608-1661)

Why are educational tours arranged?
A useful educational tool and an important part of human nature is tour. Educational tour is an integral part of the teaching and learning process. This is an option for know-how such as excursions and field trips render children to a ‘real life’ condition of what has been taught in the classroom. Therefore, his method of teaching and learning remains a long-term impression on the children. Young minds should constantly be exposed to travels to boost and enrich their rational base and worldview.
Tours take place to provide an educational experience that cannot be had in school. For examples - the material to be seen and experienced is available only on an off-site location or an environment that cannot be recreated in a school is necessary, such as visiting rivers in geography, or seeing butterflies in Science etc.
The idea is for features of the curriculum to be better covered in a practical field location than in a theoretical classroom location, and also to fulfill the objective in the school’s culture of Rahmat-E-Alam Mission.
